During the 2012 NHL lockout Max Talbot and Bruno Gervais decided to have this event ( La
Tournee de Joueurs 2012) so players could practice, stay in shape and at the same time raise
money for local charities and minor hockey across Quebec.
La Tournèe de Joueurs 2012 was a 2-team event (Team Montrèal versus Team Quèbec)
featuring mainly Canadian local hockey players; Marc Andrè Fleury, Patrice Bergeron, Simon
Gagnè, Kris Letang just to name a few. A total of 9 games were played across Quebec;
Cities like Chateauguay- Sherbrooke-Quebec City, Chicoutimi were visited and depending on
the city some players did play for both teams.
