The Mersen TRS100R is a 100-amp, 600V AC/DC Class RK5 time-delay fuse from the Tri-Onic® TRS-R series, engineered for overcurrent protection in applications such as motors, transformers, feeders, and service entrance equipment. Its time-delay feature accommodates inrush currents during motor start-ups and transformer energization, preventing nuisance openings. The fuse's current-limiting capability reduces peak let-through energy, enhancing system protection. Constructed with a fiberglass-reinforced PolyTube body and high-grade silica filler, the TRS100R ensures fast arc quenching and dimensional stability under harsh conditions. It features a blade terminal design for clip mounting and offers an optional SmartSpot® blown fuse indicator for easy identification. With a high interrupt rating of 200kA AC and 100kA DC.
