1976 Press Photo Ernest Wright, leading figure in People's Defense League

This is an original press photo. The daddy of them all was the now defunct People's Defense League, which came into being in 1941. The leading figure in the People's Defense League was Ernest J. Wright, a genial gregarious gray haired man in his late sixties who now enjoys the title of "banking officer" with the National American Bank of New Orleans. Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches. Photo is dated 09-26-1976.
