Contains title page, black & white illustrated page for "Les Modes", seven introductory pages on "Petit Theatre des Modes with small black and white portraits, one full page reproduction of Gainsborough portrait, twelve page s in calendar format with small black and white illustrations, intersperesed with three full page black and white portraits, one full page in brown and white design saying "Album Modes", fourteeen full page black and white photographs mostly of ladies of the period.
Some of the contents are loosening in the boards and are a little worn on the edges and no free front endpaper. Half title page is a bit browned and spotted around the edges with a creased corner. A few marginal page marks.
Cloth covered boards are rather frayed on the lower edges, less so on the upper edges and a little rubbed on spine and leading edges.
