Beautiful large antique hand carved wooden marionette that measures about 22 inches tall.

It’s in good overall condition considering its age.

Its most striking feature is an articulated mouth. Also has articulated hands and feet with very detailed carved fingers and toes. Fingers can move into different positions, from a straight hand to a folded hand.

In addition, it has a surprise under its clothes in between the legs. A long piece of carved wood.

All the strings are attached and in working condition.

The wooden handle has a side that’s slightly loose so it comes out. I just pushed it in but an easy permanent fix is to just add some wood glue.

Has a few small holes on the back of the clothing as shown in the photos. Also has some stains here and there.

Lastly, it looks like it has lost some of its hair, although I’m not sure.
