Vtg WMX Waste Management Duffle Luggage Carpet Bag Cloth & Leather Promo WM Logo

Item Description:

Up for sale is this very scarce carpet-bag style piece of luggage.  A promo or earned giveaway from WMX (Waste Management) Industries.  Last photo is simply to illustrate the explanation of the logo.  No company sign is included.

-Good overall condition.  Used, with some scuffs and staining on the leather (shown), and two places where the rivet pulled or is beginning to pull through the fabric (also shown).  Still a great-looking piece!   Sturdy enough to use or display.

-Burgundy canvas / cloth bag with white logos, and light brown leather accents.

-Two handles, shoulder strap, and buckles to keep it closed when traveling.

-Large, roomy bag.  One large interiorpocket.

-Wooden stiffener in the bottom, metal -framed opening.

-Measures approximately 14.5" tall x 19" wide x 6.5" deep.

Bag features an all-over print of the logo of WMX Technologies Inc., formerly known as Waste Management Inc. The logo features a stylized "WM" formed by two sets of three diagonal lines, enclosed within a circle that is split into two halves between the "W." & "M".  The logo is white against a maroon background.  WMX Technologies Inc. changed its name from Waste Management Inc. in 1992 and used this logo on its equipment, which was often burgundy-colored.

Leather patch features a telephone & the WM loge to copy its slogan, "One Call Finds It All".  I have included one photo that shows the Company Slogan.  No sign is included with your purchase.
