This beautiful art nouveau goblet bears the name of Webster Mfg Co which was in business from 1859 to 1873 in Brooklyn and they were involved in the production of silver plate. It was later known as E.G. Webster and Bros. and then E.G. Webster & Son and finally sold to International Silver in 1928.
The goblet is 7” high and 3-1/2” across.
On the back the name “Liggett” is etched. This was a big name in the Burlington Wisconsin area. There is a spoon listed on this sight from Liggett’s Hotel and the etching is very similar. It is my belief that this goblet belonged to a person with the last name Liggett as it does not have the ‘s.
This goblet is in good condition as it has to be at least 150 years old. It is very unique and I hate to part with it but I am 83 and don’t want the kids to put it in a yard sale for 50 cents.
If you need additional pictures I will be happy to oblige.
