STRANGE DISAPPEARANCES by Elliott O'Donnell.
a collection of several short stories about real life, famous, unexplainable disappearances of people.
(there's some artistic liberties taken with it, such as dialogue and a little dramatization, though).
O'Donnell had multiple previous titles about the paranormal and the occult, but this one is mostly true crime cases, like murder and political intrigues. mostly.
still some spooooky shizz in these cases, which is probably what drew him to this subject.
this one seems to be the second printing or edition (first printing was in 1927, one year prior).
