This aftermarket replacement steering shaft pinion gear fits into the steering column assembly of Fits Cub Cadet, MTD, and Fits Toro riding lawn tractors. The pinion gear engages the steering sector gear to translate steering wheel input into left or right wheel movement, making it a critical component of the front steering system. This part has been used on MTD-platform riders since 1999.
