When Bebe Shopp (Miss America) of Minneapolis arrived recently at the desert sea resort, she was pleasantly surprised to be met at airport by Mrs. Jay Hormel, left Austin, Minn and Mrs. Wayne Tiss, right, of Duluth both vacationing here. Miss American was guest of famed Hotel Flamingo during her stay, after arrival via Western Airlines. Photo measures 7.5 x 9.5 inches. Photo is dated 05--1949.
