This seldom seen vintage 1970's Pilex mid-case, case back, rotating bezel, crown, crystal, movement holder and spring bars combo shows minor wear.  The wear seen is likely from storage/handling over the past several decades.  The black fat font bezel rotates bidirectionally with an appropriate amount of tension.  The all stainless steel mid-case shows light wear.  The outer edge of the case back is stamped "ALL STAINLESS STEEL   WATER RESISTANT   TESTED   1318" with "PILEX CO. CASE" followed by "MADE IN HONG KONG" stamped on the inside of the case back.  The case back sticker, which is likely original, remains largely intact.  The case back unscrews and screws back down without issue.  The crown is without a stem.  The movement holder fits inside the case perfectly as it should.  The spring bars are sturdy.  The crystal shows scratching and dust/debris on its underbelly.

Using only a ruler the mid-case measures approximately 37 mm excluding the crown, approximately 41 mm including the crown and approximately 19 mm between the lugs.  Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 8.5 mm.  Including the crystal thickness measures approximately 10 mm.  The lug to lug distance measures approximately 42 mm.
