Hello, you are looking at an Original Set of 4 matching factory Supplied Tires that I took off my parents 1979 Corvette L82 around 1987 !! I was and still am a huge originality person so I saved them so that one day I could use them to be 100% original at a show .
They have cracks as you can see in the pictures and normal wear for sitting around for the last 46 years. They have been in and out of storage for years as they still have tread and would be good for a concours restoration and correct for judging if you want to win with 100% originality with all matching codes and dates and inspection markers that would be correct for a General Motors supplied from the factory set of tires .
The date and manufacture codes are correct on all 4 tires.
tire number 1 MJUT 250279 .
tire number 2 MJUT 250139 .
tire number 3 MJUT 250279 .
tire number 4 MJUT 250279
The " MJ " proves the tires were manufactured by Goodyear In Topeka Kansas . The date of manufacture was 13th and 27th week of 1979 .

They even have the factory inspection Red and White stamps or markers still on them ...
These P255 60R 15 are the largest tire offered in 1979 Corvettes and is correct for the L 82 model
My parents are in their mid 80's now and we sold the car last year .
These tires would also be factory correct for other GM / Chevy Cars and trucks in 1979 .
