An original, antique, copper-plate engraved print of 'The South East View of Flint Castle.'  It was engraved to illustrate ‘England Displayed’ by P. Russell and Owen Price which was published by Adlard and Browne in London in 1769.

The engraving measures approximately 242mm x 134mm with margins beyond, and is blank verso.

Condition report: Excellent condition, very light age toning as is common in a print of this age (over 250 years old); slightly ragged bottom edge to the sheet where it has previously been removed from the original publication, not affecting the printed area. See photographs.



Authenticity: this is an authentic item, published at the date stated in the title and accompanying description. Where an exact date is not known, the item is dated as circa (c.), e.g. c.1650. This indicates that it may have been printed/published a few years either side of the specified year.
