Vintage wooden wood Christmas or anytime hand painted miniature girl & boy figurines from Austria. They are wearing the traditional Austrian clothing, and have blond string hair. I think these were sold as souvenirs. Stamped on the bottom is "MADE IN AUSTRIA".They are about 2 1/8" tall, and I would guess They are from the 1970's-1980's.
