A good quality English Edwardian lancet top figured mahogany mantel clock with boxwood string inlay and shell inlay to the front of the case. The clock stands on brass ball feet and has a silvered dial with Roman numerals and the makers name -

Walter Burton was born in 1868 in Louth, Lincolnshire. Burton is listed as working at 33 Victoria Street in Grimsby and was registered as a Watch Maker, Jeweller and Silversmith. He died in 1933
