This is a rare post-WW2 vintage 1947 MINERVA 729 PORTA PAL 5 Tube Portable Radio with a leather handle. This is without knobs and seemed to make a low humming noise when plugged in. It is being sold As-Is as a collectible or restorative piece.
It is a collectible radio from the 1930-49 time period, featuring 5 tubes and a portable design. The brand, MINERVA was originally called Radiola but changed its name was an Austrian company and eventually taken over by Grundig.
