Rick and I have been clearing out his shop to make way for new items.  I found a box with a few of these cast iron crosses out there.  I guess they've been out there for years now.  I like the way they look so I decided to take each one and clean it up and paint it.  I do them in a Rust Oleum Heirloom White (off white) color and then add striking gold highlights.   AS you can see, they turned out NICE!

It has a built-in mounting hole at the top.  I've pictured the back of it.

This cross measures 10 1/4" tall and 6 5/8" wide.  It weighs ONE and 1/4 Pounds.

Would make a wonderfully unique religious gift.
