AKA Hudson's Bay Green Heart Trade Beads, these classic beads were manufactured in Europe, mostly Venice, and traded extensively throughout Africa and America during the 1700s and 1800s. They have a red drawn glass exterior with a green core, hence the name "Green Hearts." As you see in the photos, some of these have varying degrees of damage from age and use, so check the photos carefully to see how they work for you as these are the beads you will receive. The strand is 29" long with 25" of beads for a total of 103 beads, which are .25" to almost .5" in diameter.
