This looks way more complicated than it is. Strip cutting and sewing does most of the heavy lifting. The stars are made with half-square triangles with sashing around each unit. The pieced border is strip cut and then the blocks are rotated up and sideways to make an interesting pattern. Some large corner squares complete the border. Add an easy outer border, and done. So many color combinations---so little time!
