The COMPETITION Pro series represents the pinnacle of what is electrically and mechanically possible today.

The PRO speakers were specially developed for so-called long-distance applications, for example in show and demo vehicles or on open-air stages, a wall of speakers as seen in the increasingly popular “Pancadão” competitions, a trend from Brazil.

An active high-pass filter ≥ 5000 Hz @ 12 dB/oct is recommended for the tweeter. The higher the crossover frequency and slope, the higher the power handling capacity.

The package content includes a 3.3 µF protecting capacitor which can be connected at low to medium levels in series to the tweeter working as a 6 dB / oct. high pass filter. However, the GZCF 200NEO-PRO is basically designed as a 2-way loudspeaker for active use. Therefore, it´s strongly recommended setting the crossover frequencies using a DSP or an active crossover.
