Jean Baptiste Geometrics No. 39. Math & Nature. Framed Line Study Print 1896

Joseph Jean Baptiste Neuberg 1849-1926 was mathematician from Luxembourg working primarily in geometrics. It is believed he created these as educational plates to explain the role of geometry in science in 1896

Over the years, these prints have been used in homes and businesses showcasing the relationship between math and natural sciences. It has been claimed that the “order” of the line studies brings a soothing and reflective effect on the viewer and area in which they are hung.

Professionally framed. No mat, the heavy paper print is mounted to paper behind, and covered by glass. Offset lithography production. Manufactured wood frame in good preowned condition w some minor scratches.
