Die Karte zeigt Ungarn, den Balkan, Griechenland und das östliche Mittelmeer, einschließlich Sizilien und Malta, wobei verschiedene Kriegsschauplätze mit der Türkei hervorgehoben werden. Matthäus Seutter (1678-1757) war einer der bedeutendsten und produktivsten deutschen Kartenverleger des 18. Jahrhunderts. Die Karte wurde nach 1732 herausgegeben, als Seutter vom deutschen Kaiser Karl VI. mit dem Titel „Kaiserlicher Geograph“ geehrt wurde.

The map shows Hungary, the Balkans, Greece and the eastern Mediterranean, including Sicily and Malta, emphasising various theatres of war with Turkey. Matthäus Seutter (1678-1757) was one of the most important and productive German map publishers of the 18th century. The map was published after 1732, when Seutter was honoured by the German Emperor Charles VI with the title ‘Imperial Geographer’.

Zustand/Condition: Guter Zustand. Leichte Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, leicht nachgedunkelt entlang der mittigen Knickfalz. Rahmen mit leichten Gebrauchsspuren.
Good condition. Slight signs of age and wear, slightly darkened along the centre crease. Frame with slight signs of wear.
