Folding tourist map of the city of Guangzhou (Canton) from the time of the Cultural Revolution, with inset map bottom left of transport routes to the city centre and key bottom right, which includes key cultural venues as well as transport information. On the reverse, a transport map of Guangzhou's bus and tram lines, and charts listing destinations of inner city buses, trains, shipping routes, and provincial coaches. There is also a list of revolutionary places of interest, with a photographic illustration and description of the former site of the Peasant Movement Training Institute led by Mao Zedong where cadres were trained for the peasant movement. The city of Guangzhou is also described separately. Some wear with a little loss at edges and fold points, repaired neatly with washi paper, 38 x 53.2cm. Text in simplified Chinese characters.
