The grade is white, approximately 0.001 inch thick, bondable/adhesion-treated, with a low-gloss satin surface. The Type 3 orientation provides balanced strength, elongation and dimensional stability. Its bondable surface allows lamination with acrylic, polyester, epoxy, rubber and pressure-sensitive adhesive systems.

Its main purpose is to provide a cleanable, stain-resistant, chemical-resistant and UV/weather-resistant finished surface. It is frequently identified commercially as an aircraft-grade, bondable and printable Tedlar film, including material supplied to Boeing-related specification
