EMPI 16-9554 Dual Circuit Master Cylinder - 20.6mm, VW Bug, Buggy, Baja
EMPI DUAL CIRCUIT MASTER CYLINDERS
If you are installing disc brakes to all four wheels, the use of this master cylinder is mandatory. The stock master cylinder cannot supply the additional pressure or the correct bias needed in a 4-wheel disc brake application. The answer is our 20.6mm bore Dual Circuit Master Cylinder. We offer one unit for all standard Beetles and another for Super Beetles only. Recommended for all 4-Wheel Disc Brake applications.

Key Features:
- Bore Size: 20.6mm (13/16 inches).
- Design: Dual circuit for added safety.
- Compatibility: Fits all standard Beetles (Type 1) from 1967 to 1977, Karmann Ghia from 1967 to 1974, and Type 181 from 1973 to 1974. It is not compatible with Super Beetles.
- Application: Recommended for all front disc/rear disc applications.
- Function: Moves more brake fluid to apply additional pressure to all four corners, resulting in increased stopping power and a firm pedal feel.
- Installation: Fits left-hand drive (LHD) applications only. The reservoir is not included and must be purchased separately.
