5 oz. Silver Coin with Black Rhodium Plating–Maple Leaf- Mintage: 2,000 (2024)

EXTREMELY LOW MINTAGE - 2,000 WORLDWIDE. - SOLD OUT!

Special features:

For 2024, RCM introduced a new tech pairing that has never been seen before on a 5 oz. fine silver coin. Struck incuse, the maple leaf on the coin’s reverse radiates a brilliant shine that is amplified by the black rhodium plated field, which repeats on the obverse. Look closely, and you’ll notice laser-engraved maple leaves are scattered throughout the field. They’re easy to miss, because the dark background alters the way the light reflects off the coin’s surface, grabbing your attention and focusing it on the shiny, incused maple leaf that proudly symbolizes Canada.

This incused maple leaf shines brightly against a black rhodium field.

  • A modern classic. Your coin features an incuse strike and a black rhodium plated field—a new tech pairing not seen before on a 5 oz. 99.99% pure silver coin.
  • Black rhodium plating. For maximum contrast, black rhodium plating fills the field on both sides of the coin. The effigy on the obverse and the maple leaf on the reverse offer the only glimpses of the coin’s shiny silver surface.
  • Low mintage. Only 2,000 coins are available to collectors worldwide.
  • Includes serialized certificate. The Royal Canadian Mint certifies all of its collector coins.
