A framed print after listed artist Gerry Baptist ARWS RE (b. 1935).
It is a bright colourful and summery scene depicting fishing boats pulled up on the shore with two men working on one. Trees behind with a group of figures to the right and parked cars to the left, a house beyond.
Signed in the print lower right.
Not titled but this is one of the artist's well known works and is called 'Conversation on the Coast'.
Printed on card and in excellent condition. Presented in a ridged wood frame which has been painted in a complementary deep pink. The frame is in very good condition, just one tiny tiny wear to the colour at the very tip of the top right corner.
Glazed and ready to hang.

Gerry Baptist is a watercolourist and printmaker, born in Portugal. His father was also an artist so his own interest in art began at an early age. At the age of 16 he did a Foundation Course at Walthamstow School of Art before going to study Graphics and Painting at the London School of Printmaking, graduating in 1955 with a Diploma in Design. After completing his National Service he worked in the Advertising Industry in the UK and in Germany for many years though continuing to paint and sketch in his own time. In 1993 he began to exhibit his work at the Nancy Smillie Gallery in Glasgow and then at the Medici in London before turning full time to his work as an artist.
Baptist has since become a member of the Royal Watercolour Society with which he exhibits regularly and also of the Royal Society of Painter/Printmakers.
