This is a solderless control plate!! Push in spring loaded connector is used to connect your pickups hot and ground wires so there is no soldering on your part. (Installation Video coming soon) This is an excellent option if you do not know or want to solder. If you swap out pickups a lot in your Tele this is a game changer!

This is a quality built prewired soldered Telecaster control plate and wiring harness. We start with a Kluson Control plate, Allparts Gotoh Chrome Barrel or Dome knobs , Mojotone CTS Series Audio full size (24mm) pots, Mojotone Dijon tone capacitor, Oak Grigsby 4 Way blade switch with either a top hat or button switch tip and a Switchcraft jack.

We use Kluson control plates because it is a replacement for vintage or contemporary Telecaster guitars. Features correct control hole spacing, non-countersunk holes, and a special feature unique to Kluson - the switch slot is slightly longer which enables the installation of the 4 position switch without hitting the plate or modifying the slot length. Vintage correct 3/64 thickness.

We can do this configuration in Nickel also. This Control Plate can also be done with barrel or dome knobs. Just send us a PM and let us know which knobs and or plating you prefer. If you prefer a different cap or cap size, just let us know. (Different cap might have an extra cost)

For this 4 way to work correctly your neck pickup has to be modified with the cover ground being soldered to a separate lead (3 wire). There are several YouTube videos showing you how to do this (see video with the pictures). If you do not want to do this yourself you can send the pickup to us to modify (10.00 up charge) and we will send it back with the control plate.

Note:  Please let us know right after purchase which switch knob (round or top hat) you want. If you do not let us know we will ship it with a top hat switch knob.

We wire these control plates as they are ordered so it might take a day or 2 before shipping.

We can add a treble bleed to this control plate for an additional cost, just send us a PM to let us know if you prefer an adjustable or fixed treble bleed.

Why a solderless control plate? Because who likes to solder! We use screw or push down connectors so you do not have to do any soldering for pickups or grounds. This is a great option for someone that swaps pickups all the time.

Note: There are several ways to wire a 4 way control plate. The one in the pictures is wired Bridge, Series, Parallel, Neck or BSPN. If you prefer we can wire it BPNS, BPSN or SBPN. If you have a different 4 way you prefer, send us the wiring diagram.
