As many in the Amiga community know, many Amiga models have been plagued by corrosion due to leaking batteries and the Amiga 2000 is one of these that are often destroyed in this manner. A new main board has been reverse engineered by 'Floppie209' to replace corrosion-damaged boards in these computers.

For those wishing to build one of these boards, sourcing all of the various passive components, logic IC's, RAM, and other parts can be challenging, especially when some of the parts on the official BOM have been discontinued or hard to find.  This listing is for a complete set of new components for those who want to build up their own board, excluding the new motherboard PCB, CPU and any Commodore custom chips.  The kit overall is recommended for advanced hobbyists only, as there is a significant amount of soldering involved.
