This is a ClearView 500mm mirror reflex lens in Nikon SLR mount. Front and rear lens caps are included. Unusual for a mirror lens, this has variable f/stops, from f/8 to f/16. The setting changes the amount of light coming through the lens; stopping down does not however increase depth of field due to the. physics of the mirror lens. The lens has a macro position that focuses as close as six feet. The lens is in Excellent cosmetic condition; the glass is clear without fungus haze or oil. The Nikon D750 body shown in some of the photos is not included; it is shown to show the size of the lens.

The final photo above is a full-frame image of a house in the next block of our subdivision.

I am selling the cameras and photo equipment I have collected over the past fifty years. They have not been film tested but appear to function correctly (film winds on, shutter fires, f/stops change, focus works). Shutter speeds sound approximately correct to my ear but speeds have not been electronically tested. I have disclosed any problems that I am aware of and have tried to act like a fussy sharp-eyed buyer in evaluating the cameras and lenses. The items have been stored in an air-conditioned non-smoking home. Remember that many of these items are classics, over forty years old, and inevitably will show some wear and signs of age.
