An unusual 4x6” vintage facsimile with red leather cover of Charles Dickens “Christmas Carol, The Cricket on the Hearth” plus three additional stories, printed on what appears to be scripts paper. Gilt lettering on spine and marble end pages. No date, probably early 1900’s (1899-1904). One illustration in front of title page. Dickens (1812-1870) was known as a writer and social critic. He’s works remain popular. Thomas Nelson &Sons, London, published Christian and educational spiritual materials.
