This is an Brand New OEM part.  It is the oil pressure switch or sending unit that screws into the oil filter housing on your Gen 2 MINI with the N16 or N18 engine.  This switch controls the oil pressure light in the dash and when it fails it will cause the light to come on and stay on.  Or worse the sensor will fail and allow oil into the wiring harness causing a very expensive repair.

Comes as seen in pictures with seal o-ring.
