Large Salviati Italian Art Glass Deer
This is a beautiful Murano art glass sculpture of a large animal with antlers. It measures approximately 11 1/2" high and 11 1/2" long. It weighs approximately ten pounds. The bottom has the remains of a silver foil label that reads "Made In Italy Salviati Murano". The body of the animal is green, the base is clear (also the space in between the legs). The clear portions fluoresce lightly yellow under black light.
This piece is in good condition. There is one chip on the bottom of the piece, as shown in the last photo. No other chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor surface scratches on the underside from normal use.
