I have just acquired a major portion of the LP’s produced and recorded
by Huey Meaux on the Crazy Cajun label from 1974 to 1984. All are original
first pressing, and all but two titles are still SEALED. On some titles, I have
more than one copy. These have all be stored under normal climate conditions for
the last 40-50 years. I repeat these are NOT REISSUES, although some of his
catalog has been repressed in the states and Europe. Crazy Cajun was a Houston
Label and Huey Meaux recorded many southern artists before they became famous
in the music industry. Some of these artists were the Sir Douglas Quintet, B.J.
Thomas, Freddy Fender, Mickey Gilley, Ronnie Milsap, Dr. John, Roy Head, Warren
Storm, Rod Bernard, Lowell Fulson, Tommy McCain, Joey Long and others. I will
be listing 57 Crazy Cajun LP’s from the very first issue to the last issue. There
are a few issues in between, which are no longer available. These albums were
all stock copies left over from his studio.
Jesse Lankford LP
entitled “We’ll Take Our Last Walk Tonight” on Crazy Cajun 1035. The record is
new, still SEALED and contains the songs “It’s You / Traveling Woman / What’s A
Matter Baby / Another Girl / We’ll Take Our Last Walk Tonight / Look Around Son
/ What Might Have Been / Rainy Day Problem / So Sad (To Watch Good Love Go Bad)
/ Where’s Your Heart.” The album is an original first pressing that was
released in 1978.
Shipping: I ship to specific locations. Shipping costs vary by country. Shipping outside the U.S.A. is typically $25 depending upon weight for one LP. Customers outside the U.S.A. must wait for an invoice before they can pay.
