A high end Japanese made deck of the highest quality

Fully working and in excellent condition

The Hitachi D-90s stereo cassette unit, with double Dolby B noise reduction, was first launched by Hitachi in 1979 and five years later, in 1984, ceased production.  The main features of the Hitachi D-90s are:
3 head and tape monitors, mechanical three-digit tape counter, manual tape type selection and normal, chrome, ferrochrome and METAL
Belt-driven, 2-motor, dual-capstan belt conveyor system

The level gauges used on the D-90 are analog needle-VU gauges. The full logic transport controls used on the D-90s allow you to respond to the slightest finger contact to select a quick and easy operating function.

From the wide range of tapes available, the sensitivity and optimal level can be set before recording to ensure the best response.

The Dolby-B system reduces the noise of tapes recorded on the D-90 by up to 10 dB at the highest frequency.
The D-90s have a three-head configuration with a Dual Dolby system for one recording and one playback.

For live recording, the device has 2 microphone inputs. It has a stereo headphone jack for trouble-free listening. You can connect an RCA cable to other audio components for playback and record from a source using an RCA cable.
