For sale is EDITH PIAF, "But Not Forgotten," on Philips PCC 222, Mono, DG, Promo, GF, 1966.
SOUND: MINT
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Perfectly clean, sharp playback-- beautiful!
VINYL: MINT
The vinyl looks perfect! There is no visual evidence this record was ever handled before, let alone played. The white DG promo labels are pristine, no spindle marks.
JACKET: MINT
This was encased in a plastic outer sleeve all these years. Long story short, this gatefold jacket is pristine in every way! Edges and corners sharp! Beautifully clean, including inner pages containing lyrics in both French and English. Spine is still stiff, it won't open all the way, as with a brand-new album. Small "promo" stamp on back cover.
The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.
You will never see a better copy! Buy-it-now for $30
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. When play-tested, I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material. Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
