Most British motorcycles from the 1960's to the early 1980's had this little decal attached near the battery.  It states that the motorcycle is using a positive ground electrical system.  Meaning the (+) red wire goes to ground (the frame) and the (-) negative black wire is the live feed going to the ignition switch.  This of course is opposite to most American and other European vehicles that use a (-) negative ground system.  They also drive on the other side of the road and apparently drink warm beer in England.

The decal is 2.5 " long and .75" high.  It is the OEM decal of original period design.  It is "peel and stick" however the decal has a front and back covering.  We peeled the back cover off and used a finger to remove the decal from the top cover.  Then we stuck it to our battery box.  It is a delicate decal, once stuck it cannot be repositioned.  Make certain your aim is true. Be aware this is not your normal "peel and stick" decal.
