Its advanced alloy composition is further enhanced by the CarTech Micro-Melt powder metal process, which ensures an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. Functionally equivalent to CPM CRU-WEAR, this high-performance steel is the heart of this knife’s full-flat-ground PlainEdge blade. To make this elite Endela even more distinctive, its blade is cloaked in a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating and its fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle is injection molded in a deep burgundy color. Consistent with this stunning black-and-burgundy theme, its reversible deep-pocket wire clip, lock bar, and handle hardware also sport durable black coatings.
