This vintage sample was developed when Converse made the majority of their vulcanized footwear in the USA, Lumberton, NC.  During that time, Converse HQ was located in North Reading, MA.  That’s where this shoe was acquired.  These half samples were used for new materials and color-ups for the R&D department.  Own this time-capsule and a piece of Converse history.
