This 1939 American Legion Medal commemorates the 20th Convention held in Oakland, CA. It was awarded to Claire Ferrero, a delegate of the event. The medal is made of brass and has been circulated. It features the emblem of the American Legion on the front and has the words "20th National Convention Oakland, Calif." inscribed on the front as well.
