If you're looking for the cheapest, poorest fitting transfer case drop with the wrong bolts, look elsewhere. If you actually want something that's quality and fits the way it should, here you go.
This is a 1" transfer case drop for 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ and 1997-2002 Jeep Wrangler TJ.
The pucks are 6061 aluminum and are anodized black. Many others for sale are plastic, including many by big name brands. The problem with plastic is when you tighten the bolts you will crush the pucks. Eventually the bolts will get loose and you'll have to tighten them more crushing the pucks further. This will go on forever until the pucks eventually fail and you will never have tight bolts. The bolts may even fall out on you when you're driving. You won't have that problem with these. Tighten them once and you're done.
The other thing that makes these pucks better than others is that they have a recess to fit around the nutserts. This means the pucks will rest on the frame, not on the nutsert. Others are flat on both sides which does not allow them to rest on the frame as they should. This will lead to failure of your nutserts which is already a common problem even without adding additional stress to them. You won't have that problem with these. Install them recess side up and flat side down for a perfect fit.
The ID of these pucks is also a precise fit to the bolts. Not loose like others on the market.
The bolts are Grade 8, hardened and yellow zinc plated for excellent corrosion resistance and most importantly they have the correct countersink to fit properly in the skid plate just like the factory bolts do. Regular bolts without the countersink will fit loose and allow for unwanted movement of the skid plate which will lead to movement in the drivetrain and you don't want that.
The bottom line is if you want the right parts, these are them. If you decide to go with something else, good luck to you. I wouldn't be selling these if there was something else on the market worth using.

Region Offroad is a small business located in Indiana. I only sell Jeep parts and I only sell parts that I would use on my own Jeep. Everything in my store is high quality and I guarantee you will be happy with it. Unlike many other sellers, most of which are in China but falsely claiming to be in the US and have likely never driven a Jeep in their life, I spend 7 days a week working on Jeep's and dealing with parts. My goal is to make difficult to find out of production parts available, make higher quality versions of parts where the existing options are junk, and offer comprehensive high quality hardware kits. My main focus is 1976-current CJ's through JL's but I also carry many parts for Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and few others as well. If you have any questions about a part or can't find something you are looking for message me and I'd be glad to help. Happy Jeeping.
