The new and innovative Carrera Wireless 2.0 system revolutionizes the car racing experience and offers a range of exciting benefits for car racing enthusiasts. The wireless technology eliminates the annoying tangle of cables and offers Carrera pilots a more realistic and comfortable driving experience. With a high range of up to 15 meters, the Wireless 2.0 system uses 2.4 GHz radio technology to ensure a stable connection and therefore unrestricted freedom of movement on the race track without having to worry about interruptions.
Instead of sensitive lithium batteries, the Wireless 2.0 system is powered by standard AAA 1.5 V batteries or rechargeable AAA 1.5 V batteries (not included).
The cost-effective upgrade option for Carrera DIGITAL 124/132 racetracks with cable hand controllers to the new Wireless 2.0 system is particularly advantageous. Nothing stands in the way of exciting races with friends or family - and all without the annoying tangle of cables.
Note on the compatibility of Carrera Wireless 2.0 with the previous one 2.4 GHz Wireless+ system: Wireless 2.0 hand controllers can only be operated with the Wireless 2.0 receiver, correspondingly the previous Wireless+ hand controllers only work with Wireless+ receivers. However, parallel operation is possible if both a Wireless 2.0 receiver 10122 and a Wireless+ receiver 10112 are connected to the Carrera Digital Control Unit; only the vehicle addresses must not be assigned twice.
