: Pintor y dibujante nacido en Burgos en 1918. Establecido en Barcelona desde 1940. Se formó en las escuelas de Artes y Oficios de Burgos y Barcelona y en la escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de Sant Jordi, siendo discípulo de E. Santasusagna, Pérez Dols y F. Ribera. En 1953 realizó su primera exposición individual en la Galería Grifé y Escoda en Barcelona. Posteriormente, espuso en diversas galerias de esta ciudad (Jaimes, La Pinacoteca, etc.), así como de Huesca y Argentina. También concurrió a diversas muestras colectivas. Cultivó el retrato, composiciones con figuras y el paisaje, siguiendo un estilo deudor de la tradición impresionista. Ejerció como profesor de dibujo en la Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Barcelona y de la escuela de Decoración y fué catedrático de la Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de Sant Jordi. SANTOS VIVAR SAN MILLÁN, : Painter and draftsman born in Burgos in 1918. Established in Barcelona since 1940. He trained at the Arts and Crafts schools of Burgos and Barcelona and at the Sant Jordi School of Fine Arts, being a disciple of E. Santasusagna, Pérez Dols and F. Ribera. In 1953 he held his first individual exhibition at the Grifé y Escoda Gallery in Barcelona. Later, he exhibited in various galleries in this city (Jaimes, La Pinacoteca, etc.), as well as in Huesca and Argentina. He also attended various group exhibitions. He cultivated portraiture, compositions with figures and landscape, following a style indebted to the impressionist tradition. He worked as a drawing teacher at the School of Arts and Crafts of Barcelona and the School of Decoration and was a professor at the Sant Jordi School of Fine Arts.
