After game 1 of the 2001 Eastern Conference opening round, Marcus Camby finds out later that evening that his mother and 2 sisters were held hostage at knifepoint in their home. After 8 hours the man surrenders and the suspect is arrested. Police say it was a former boyfriend of Camby’s sister and he wanted to speak with Camby during the standoff.
