Miguel Cubiles Sculpture

This is a very unique piece of art by listed Cuban-Mexican artist Miguel Cubiles (1937-2005). It would make a beautiful addition to any home or art collection. Works by this artist can be found in the permanent collections of the Fundacio Joan Miro in Spain, the Japan Printmakers Association in Japan, the Museo de Arte y Cultura in Mexico, the Insitituo de Cultura Puertorriquena in Puerto Rico, the Museo Rufino Tamayo in Mexico, and the Miami-Dade County Public Library in the United States.

This sculpture is composed of wood and textured plaster atop a rotating base. This piece measures approximately 11 1/2" long,  12" high, and  9" deep. The back is signed with an "X" and "Cubiles" and the bottom is also signed. This sculpture is in excellent condition, without any chips, cracks, repairs or damages. It does have some dirt in the crevices and could use a cleaning. Feel free to contact us with any questions or photo requests.
