This is our interpretation of the way the 23rds shirts may have looked.
The "Ghost Army," officially the 23rd Headquarters Special Troops, was a secretive U.S. Army unit of about 1,100 soldiers during World War II, tasked with deceiving German forces through psychological warfare. Comprising artists, engineers, actors, and designers, the unit used inflatable tanks, fake radio transmissions, and sound effects to create battlefield illusions, misrepresenting the size and location of Allied forces. From 1944 to 1945, the Ghost Army conducted over 20 deception operations across Europe, drawing German troops away from actual battle sites and saving thousands of lives.
