Size: The printed area measures approximately 153mm x 185mm with margins beyond; blank verso.

Description: An original antique, copper-engraved, map of part of north Africa, centred around Marruecos (Marrakesh). It was published in the first Latin edition of the Mercator/Hondius 'Atlas Minor'.

Condition: Very good overall condition. Age toning as is to be expected. One or two small nicks to the edges of the sheet, not affecting the printed area. Very faint vertical fold crease to the left side of the sheet, flattened out. Please study all the images carefully to fully appreciate the condition.
