MANACIL is a ready-to-use solution for the control of white spot disease (Ichthyophthirius multifiliis) with a brand new combination of bright green active ingredients, 4,4'-benzyIidene-bis (n, n-dimethylaniline), acriflavine HCL and yellow metanil.
In addition, the preparation is very effective against other ciliates (unicellular cilia) such as Chilodonella (dull skin) and Ichthyobodo (syn. Costia), a flagellate, as well as against Trichodina, etc. on freshwater fish.
MANACIL also helps in very stubborn cases with modified strains of the pathogen.
MANACIL is free of polymeric solubilisers.
TRICHOSAL® is a new combination of active ingredients and a ready-to-use solution.
TRICHOSAL® effectively combats bacterial infections and fungal diseases.
The causative agents are Flexibacter Columnaris, gram-negative bacteria, found in the mucus on the skin and gills of the fish,
Pseudomonas spp. cause bleeding and ulcers on the skin.
Mycoses (fungal diseases) are caused by the pathogens Saprolegnia parasitica and Achlya and disappear after treatment with TRICHOSAL®.
Spawning fungi in ornamental fish farming can be prevented by prophylaxis with TRICHOSAL®.
Most of the skin cloudy on the skin of fish such as Trichodina, Chilodonella and Ichthyobodo necator are also reached by TRICHOSAL®.
TRICHOSAL® is free from polymer solubilizers and does not cloud the treatment water.
BILOCIL® with the patented active ingredient rafoxanide against skin and gill worms as well as tapeworms (cestodes)
BILOCIL® is recommended by Diskuszucht Stendker GmbH & Co KG in Warendorf and Diskuszucht Weissflog AG in Switzerland for the eradication (complete elimination of a pathogen) of trematodes and cestodes in discus fish.
BILOCIL® is the drug of choice for the treatment of all adult cichlids (cichlids), viviparous tooth carps (Poeciliinae), thread fish (labyrinth fish, anabantoidei) and other types of carp. BILOCIL® is also well tolerated by shrimp.
BILOCIL® is a new development from Manaus-Aquarium with the active ingredients: N- [3-chloro-4- (4-chlorophenoxy) phenyl] -2-hydroxy-3,5-diiodobenzamide and (RS) -2- (cyclohexylcarbonyl) - 2,3,4,6,7,11b-hexahydro-1H-pyrazino [2,1-a] isoquinolin-4-one for the successful treatment of fish infected with monogenea (skin worms and gill flukes).
BILOCIL® effectively and demonstrably frees the fish from egg-laying Dactylogyrus species and viviparous Gyrodactylus species and also has a reducing effect on flagellates in the intestine of the fish during worm treatment.
Cichlids, especially discus fish, are often heavily infested with gill worms (Dactylogyrus spp.). If left untreated, these parasite infections are responsible for the slow withering of the animals until they die. Young fish and smaller fish species die from the parasites after a massive infestation. It makes sense to treat the parent animals with BILOCIL® before they are set up for breeding.
Very small, young discus up to the age of 3 months are treated with our product BILOCIL®sensitive.
Live-giving birth skin worms (Gyrodactylus spp.) Are often a problem in all ornamental fish such as
Guppy, platy and swordtail species, but also threadfish (labyrinth fish) are attacked. In our microscopic examinations of animals in wholesalers and retailers, fish with a high density of infestation were not uncommon. Red neons (Paracheirodon axelrodi) imported directly from Brazil with a strong infestation of Monogenea were also found.
Skin and gill flukes are still a major problem for importers, dealers and breeders of ornamental fish.
The demonstrably successful effect of BILOCIL® was tested in a series of preliminary tests at an ornamental fish importer and in several large discus breeding facilities in Germany.
The preparation is characterized by a very quick therapeutic success and very good tolerance by the fish.
BILOCIL® is free from polymer solubilizers.
BILOCIL® does not discolour or cloud (bacterial bloom) the aquarium water.
Bilocil Sensitive of the brand Manaus is a very effective medicine against
skin flukes and gill flukes and tapeworms at sensitive fish such as L-numbers
(Loricariidae), Panser Catfish (Corydoras) and very young fish in ornamental
fish farming. This product is also the most suitable medication for the
treatment of community aquariums with many different fish species. All shrimps
tolerate the medicine well.
How do I know my fish is sick?
Skin: the
skin is the first protection and defense system and shows usually also the
first signs of a disease or deficiency due to an infection. You should keep a
close eye on any discoloration.
Swimming
behavior: Unusual swimming or wiggling behavior can be characteristic for the
presence of a disease.
Indications
of an infestation with parasites such as skin or gill flukes are, for example:
When
recognizing the above symptoms, it is important to treat the fish quickly, so
that further weakening of the animals by the parasites is prevented. If
possible, confirm the diagnosis with the aid of a microscopic examination.
– Tropical
fish like Loricariidae, Corydoras
– Discus fish
– Shrimps
– For gill
flukes (Dactylogyrus sp.) and intestinal worms such as tapeworms and flukes
(Cestodes and digene trematodes), the following dosage applies:
1st day: Waterchange 50% before starting the treatment, 1 ml per 20 liters of
aquarium water.
3rd day: 1ml per 20 liters of aquarium water.
5th day: 1ml per 20 liters of aquarium water.
After 7 days the treatment is complete, big waterchange of minimum 50%. It is
not necessary to do water changes between treatment days.
Read
leaflet before use.If there is
cloudiness during the treatment of the aquarium water due to bacterial blooms
and a related lack of oxygen, the treatment should be interrupted by a major
water change of 80%
OCTOCIL is a new development from Manaus-Aquarium
with the active ingredients 5-nitrothiazol-2-amine, N- [3-chloro-4- (4-chlorophenoxy) phenyl] -2-hydroxy-3,5-diiodobenzamide and
3,9-Diamin-7-ethoxy-acridinium (RS) lactate for the successful treatment of fish affected by intestinal flagellates. The combination of active ingredients is stabilized by a special process and
thus optimally reaches the fish in the treatment water.
OCTOCIL effectively frees your fish from intestinal flagellates and flagellates in the blood through the systemic effect of the drug.
Cichlids, especially discus fish and scalars, can be affected by flagellates such as Cryptobia, Hexamita, Spironucleus and Trichomonas. Intestinal flagellates are parasites and remove nutrients from the intestine of the host animal (fish) and subsequently lead to inflammatory processes and changes in the fish intestine.
OCTOCIL successfully kills these unicellular parasites in the fish during treatment and also reaches encapsulated stages of the pathogens on the bottom of the aquarium. In the course of the treatment, the fish begin to resume the food offered.
OCTOCIL should be used preventively in a quarantine aquarium for newly acquired fish.
When breeding disc fish and scalars, OCTOCIL can be used to treat juvenile fish in order to achieve flagellate-free fish stocks.
The preparation is characterized by rapid therapeutic success and good tolerance.
OCTOCIL is usually administered once.
Even after opening the packaging, OCTOCIL has a long shelf life (5 years).
After the successful treatment with OCTOCIL, DIPLORAL should be added to the aquarium water of the previously treated fish for a few weeks afterwards, in order to quickly compensate for the missing minerals in the fish organism.
LEVAMICIL is a new development from Manaus-Aquarium with the active ingredient: (S) -6-phenyl-2,3,5,6-tetrahydroimidazo [2,1-b] [1,3] thiazole for the successful treatment of ornamental fish suffering from nematodes . LEVAMICIL contains one of the most effective pharmaceutical substances for the treatment of nematode infected fish and is particularly effective due to the special galenics (preparation) of this medication.
LEVAMICIL is extremely well tolerated by all types of fish.
LEVAMICIL effectively and demonstrably frees your fish from nematodes. All species of ornamental fish can be infected by roundworms (nematodes). Most fish infections with roundworms are caused by hairworms (Capillaria sp.) And milling headworms (Camallanus cotti). Discus fish are often affected by a certain type of pinworm (Oxyuridae sp.) In the intestine, which also belongs to the nematodes.
If left untreated, these parasite infections are responsible for the animals slowly sifting to death. Young fish and smaller fish species die of the parasites after a short while. In the event of a proven infestation, parent animals should be exempted from these nematodes with LEVAMICIL before starting to breed.
The preparation is characterized by a very quick therapeutic success and a very good tolerance even in juvenile fish.
LEVAMICIL is free from polymer solubilizers.
LEVAMICIL does not discolor and does not tarnish (bacterial bloom) the aquarium water.
DIPLORAL should be used for 4 – 6 weeks directly after successful treatment against intestinal parasites.
DIPLORAL provides the fish with important minerals and trace elements. If they are not given essential minerals, illnesses caused by mineral deficiencies can easily arise. Such as: the hole-in-the-head disease seen in cichlids and particularly discus fish, poor growth and deformities in the skeletons of juvenile fish (also missing gill covers in Discus fish in ornamental fish breeding).
Dosage: 5g per week per 100 litres (5g is approx. one heaped teaspoon), add to the aquarium water (with very soft water up to 10g per 100 litres).
