A very good review copy Andrew Motion's first collection of poems, published by the Carcanet Press in the UK, 1978, this being a review copy of the first edition (paperback, as issued).

Teal blue glossy wraps are very good; note some sunning to edges; a small crease to lower left corner but otherwise very presentable.

Internally very clean; no inscriptions; bookplate for (ex-editor of the Sunday Times Magazine) Godfrey Smith to ffep; compliments slip from publisher loose inside. Note a little spotting to opening page edge. Binding square and sound. Very good / very good minus.

Will be boxed for postage.
