This 12-volt intermittent-duty fuel shutdown solenoid controls fuel delivery to the injection system, cutting off fuel flow when the ignition is switched off for clean engine shutdown. It installs in the fuel system on John Deere equipment powered by the 6076 diesel engine family and is a direct replacement for OEM part number RE53507. Also fits select Caterpillar (Cat) equipment as noted in the title -- verify your application before ordering.
